Jonathan Hirai Bio
Jonathan was raised in the San Francisco Bay area in a family of entrepreneurial, small business owners. Jonathan’s father was a well know artisan who designed and produced custom Shoji screens for residences and businesses throughout the bay area. His mother owned an antique business, importing and specializing in Asian collectables and artifacts. Growing up in this environment, Jonathan developed an appreciation for business as well as design, architecture and real estate. He graduated from California State University at Sonoma and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Jonathan followed in his family’s entrepreneurial footsteps and opened his own business, where he continued to develop his sales, marketing and business skills.
His desire to become a pilot and to travel led Jonathan to enlist is in the United States Air Force. He served in Asia in the Air Force Security Division. Utilizing his accuracy and attention to detail, Jonathan served as Air Force Accident Investigator. Jonathan was solely responsible for completing detailed investigations of all safety and accident incidents in the region and reporting his findings directly to Air Force command. Jonathan was eventually stationed at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento. He decided to permanently reside in Sacramento, where he found a diverse and growing community that offered many opportunities for him to pursue his personal, cultural and business interests.
In 2003 Jonathan obtained his California Real Estate Broker’s license. He has continued to work hard to become a consummate Real Estate professional through continued education. He has obtained many advanced certificates in the field of Real Estate and is committed to continuous improvement through education. He has utilized his skill as a communicator, listener and market expert to help hundreds of clients through the home buying /selling process His draws on his experience and knowledge to develop a unique marketing plan for each property and a negotiating strategy that will produce a successful transactions for his clients. . Jonathan is committed to customer service and consistent, direct and honest communication. He takes great pride in guiding his clients through the most important financial transaction of their lives --- the buying and/or selling of their home.
